Did you know that it's possible to make a full-time income coaching whilst working only 20 hours a week?
How do I know? Because that's what I do!
It's SO SIMPLE. There are only ever two things that you need to focus on in your coaching business in order to do this:
1. Becoming an outstanding coach.
2. Demonstrating your coaching skills and expertise to prospective clients.
Let's start with becoming an outstanding coach.
In an online world that endlessly talks about 10k months and making money , I truly believe that not enough time is spent talking about how to powerfully transform the lives of our clients.
But the truth is, if you want your business to thrive long-term, you need a group of raving fans; clients that have worked with you and have loved every second.
And although maybe at the moment you're investing all your time and energy on learning sales and marketing, can you honestly say that you're spending time and money continuing to develop your coaching skills?
There are two ways to develop your coaching skills: ongoing training (which I highly recommend) and spending more time throughout your week actually coaching.
Out of a 20 hour work week, I spend at least 15 hours in coaching calls with clients or prospective clients.
Which leads me to demonstrating your coaching skills with prospective clients. The more value you can offer for free, the greater your income will be. There are two ways that I offer immense value:
1. In the form of trainings, blog posts, inspirational posts of IG and FB group content. I gladly give away my latest knowledge and expertise for free. It's valuable, it's relevant and I know my audience pretty darn well!
2. In the form of coaching calls. If a prospective client reaches out to me and I feel we would be a good fit, I offer a complimentary 90 minute power session. I dive deep with them. I don't try to sell them on anything, I just show them what working with me is really like.
7 times out of 10, my prospective client is the one asking how they can continue working with me. Letting them experience powerful coaching is an incredible act of service on my part, and it is the most ethical form of client creation I know. I never ever push anyone to work with me, they decide it for themselves.
What does this approach do for you? It frees up your time so you can enjoy balance in your life. It allows you to finally focus on what's gonna move the needle forward for you in your business (and stop wasting time being busy on the things that don't actually matter). Plus, it will ensure that your business thrives year after year - you'll be in this for the long haul.
